Kilo K-9™ is more than a business — it’s our family’s life work.

What started as a shared passion for dogs and balanced training has become a full-time commitment to helping others build better relationships with their dogs. Every lesson, every board-and-train, every placement carries the same personal care and attention we give to our own animals.
As a family-owned company, we believe in doing things the right way — with patience, honesty, and accountability. We treat our clients like an extension of our pack, ensuring that every dog and owner who trains with us leaves with confidence, structure, and a stronger bond.
Whether we’re training a working K9 for law enforcement or a pet for a young family, our approach never changes — respect, consistency, and trust form the foundation of everything we do.
Frequently Asked Questions

Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers.

We believe clarity builds trust — so here’s what most clients ask before beginning their Kilo program.
How do I get started with Kilo K-9™ training?
Every new client begins with an inquiry form. We review each submission to make sure the program and timing are the right fit before moving forward.
Do you offer evaluations before training begins?
Yes. We assess each dog’s temperament, drive, and behavior to determine the best training path — ensuring a safe and effective experience for both dog and handler.
What types of dogs do you train?
Kilo K-9™ works with all dogs — any breed, size, age, or training level. Our programs are customized to meet each dog and handler where they are, building structure, confidence, and control for lasting results.

Our Home Pet programs are ideal for family companions of all types, from Labradors and Golden Retrievers to mixed breeds and rescues.

Our Working Pet programs are designed for dogs with higher drive and focus, such as German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, Dobermans, and similar working lines.

Every dog we train is evaluated individually for temperament, goals, and potential — ensuring the right program and pace for lasting success.
How long are your training programs?
Program length varies based on your dog’s goals and progress. Board & Train programs typically run 4–6 weeks for Home Pets and 8+ weeks for Working Pets, while private training sessions are scheduled individually based on need and availability.
Do you train the owners as well?
Always. True obedience requires leadership and communication. We coach owners to understand their dog’s behavior and maintain results long after training ends.
Do you guarantee results?
We guarantee our commitment and expertise — but success requires your consistency. The most lasting results come from owners who apply what they’ve learned daily.
Do you sell fully trained dogs?
Always. True obedience requires leadership and communication. We coach owners to understand their dog’s behavior and maintain results long after training ends.
